Appendix A: Glossary
Our CompTIA Network+ N10-007 courseware covers the concepts and skills needed to plan, install, maintain, and troubleshoot modern networks in a vendor-neutral format. This includes physical network components and technologies, logical structures, common protocols, and network security. This course maps to the CompTIA Network+ N10-007 certification exam. Windows exercises in this course are completed using Windows 10. Exam objective coverage is marked throughout the course, and there is an extensive glossary appendix.
This course assumes that you have basic knowledge at using and maintaining individual workstations. The knowledge required to obtain the CompTIA A+ certification is helpful but not necessary.
Through our partnership with Practice Labs, we now offer a comprehensive certification exam preparation solution for many of our CompTIA titles. The solution combines both the hands on practical elements as well as practice exam features, giving the learner the best chance of succeeding in gaining the certifications they want.
All Practice Exams are developed by subject matter experts who have successfully passed the certification exam. Their job is to design practice questions that make sure learners have the skills and knowledge necessary to confidently pass the exams themselves.
To ensure the accuracy, quality, and objective coverage of our CompTIA exam prep tiles these have been submitted for CompTIA Approved Quality Content (CAQC) review.
The following modes are available for learner practice:
Learn Mode - students can focus on a single objective or many. Each question offers the opportunity to see both the answer and an explanation.
Exam Mode - it’s like you’re taking a test. All results are tracked for each user, so students can measure their progress over time.
Exam Prep products cost $30 when purchased with a course, or $20 when also purchasing either Online Labs or Practice Labs.
