How will I receive my E-book order?

E-book orders are fulfilled via email within 24 hours. The email message will include a unique code for each E-book along with access instructions.

How long will I be able to access my E-book?

Your content license is perpetual and does not expire.

Do I need any special software?

No. Basic access is through a web browser. You can stop there, but to get the most out of your E-book experience we encourage you to use the Bookshelf App. For more information, CLICK HERE.

I’m having trouble redeeming my access code. What can I do?

First, make sure pop-up blockers are turned off in your web browser. Is that doesn’t help, try a different browser.

Can I view my E-book even if I’m not connected to the Internet?

Yes! You will need to install the Bookshelf App, which is available for personal computers (Windows, OS X, Chromebook) and mobile devices (iOS, Android, Kindle Fire). To download the Bookshelf App for your system(s), CLICK HERE.

Can I print my E-book?

Yes, but printing is limited to one page at a time. Any printing must be done from within the Bookshelf App.

Can I highlight text?

Yes! You can even apply multiple highlight colors to differentiate between various types of content. For example, you can highlight definitions in green and exam objectives in blue. Ten highlight colors are available.

If I make notes or apply highlighting while using a mobile device, will those things be reflected the next time I use my personal computer (and vice versa)?

Yes. Bookshelf allows you to create notes and highlights that will sync automatically. Once synced, your notes will be available to you on any of your internet-enabled devices.

Can I do keyword searches in my E-book?

Yes! You can search the entire book, or you can limit your search to only your own notes and highlighted content.

How many different devices can I use with Bookshelf Online?

Bookshelf Online allows you to have two computers and two mobile/tablet devices activated at any given time.

Can I change the font size of my E-book?

Yes. In the Bookshelf App, use the Zoom In/Zoom Out controls. In your web browser, use the Resize Text button.

Are there any other accommodations for visually impaired learners?

Yes. The Bookshelf App has a spoken word feature. Click “Start Reading” to hear the book read aloud.
